Alcohol May Have Played Role In Fatal Crash In Hilltown: Police
A 57-year-old man died Friday night after he lost control of his Porsche while driving on Diamond Street, police said.

HILLTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — A 57-year-old Hilltown Township man was killed Friday night when he lost control of his car in the 1200 block of Diamond Street.
The Hilltown Township Police Department and the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office Crash Team are investigating the crash, which happed aound 7 p.m.
A preliminary investigation indicates a Porsche Cayenne was eastbound on Diamond Street, east of Narothyn Road, when its right-side tires went off the right edge of the roadway. The Porsche then veered to its left and crossed into the path of a westbound Subaru Legacy where the vehicles collided.

The 57-year-old driver, the only passenger of the Porsche, was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital at Grand View where he was pronounced deceased.
The driver of the Subaru did not report any injuries at the scene. The female front seat passenger and an infant child in a car seat in the rear passenger seat of the Subaru were both transported to St. Luke’s Hospital at Grand View for injuries.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation. Police are looking into the possibility that alcohol impairment played a role in the crash.
Police have not released the identity of the deceased driver.
Hilltown Police were assisted at the scene by the Silverdale Fire Department, Sellersville Fire Department, Chal-Brit EMS Medic 159, St. Luke’s Medic 151, and VMSC Medic 345.
