DOYLESTOWN BOROUGH, PA — Doylestown is no stranger to weather emergencies.

The area has been struck by hurricanes, tropical storms, tornadoes, flooding, straight-line winds, severe thunderstorms, and winter snow and ice storms.

So the question is not whether the area will be hit again, but whether you're prepared for the storm.

On Wednesday, April 22, the public is invited to a storm preparedness program to be held at the Doylestown Borough Hall. The program begins at 7 p.m. and is free to the public.

Participants will learn how to protect their home or business against weather-related emergencies. They will also discover which supplies they should have on hand and how they can support the community in the aftermath of severe weather.
