Bucks County Bar To Honor Local Veterans With Luncheon

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Bucks County veterans are invited to sit down to a complimentary lunch on Veterans Day at the Bucks County Bar Association in Doylestown.

The association on Tuesday announced plans for its annual Veterans Day Luncheon on Wednesday, Nov. 11, beginning at 12 p.m. at 135 East State Street in Doylestown.

“Veterans Day is an important reminder of the sacrifices made by the men and women who have served our country,” said Heather Cevasco, executive director of the Bucks County Bar Association and Foundation. “We are proud to continue this annual tradition and bring our community together to personally thank our veterans for their service. It is a small gesture of appreciation, but one that means a great deal to all of us at the Bar Association and Foundation.”

The annual tradition brings together members of the legal community, local veterans, their families, and community supporters to recognize the courage, commitment, and sacrifices of the men and women who have served the country.

According to Cevasco, the luncheon "offers an opportunity to express appreciation to veterans while strengthening connections between the legal community and those who have given so much in service to our nation."

A special invitation has been extended to veterans, veteran advocates, and individuals involved with the Veterans Treatment Program.
