Bucks County Issues Excessive Heat Warning
Cooling centers open at locations throughout the county as temperatures reach into the high 90s and lower 100s.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Bucks County has issued an Excessive Heat Warning from 8 a.m Wednesday through Sunday evening in response to extreme heat, which is forecast to grip the region through the holiday weekend.
To assist those seeking refuge from the heat, cooling centers will be open to the public in Upper, Central, and Lower Bucks.
The following cooling centers will operate during the days and hours listed:

During this heat emergency, additional cooling centers may be open throughout Bucks County, including senior centers and other facilities that are not currently part of the county’s cooling center program. Check your municipality's social media and website for cooling centers that are not listed here, but may be closer.
The county issues an Excessive Heat Warning when the National Weather Service forecasts daytime temperatures will reach 95 degrees by 11 a.m. on two or more consecutive days, or when heat indexes will reach 100 degrees on any given day.
