Wrightstown Farmers Market Celebrates 20 Years!
Three Saturdays of fall fun, local food and community are coming to Wrightstown Farmers Market as we celebrate the 20th anniversary alongside parent organization the Bucks County Foodshed Alliance!
Join us at the Middletown Grange Fairgrounds, 576 Penns Park Road, Newtown, from 9 AM–noon for these special events:
🥒 September 19 — Zucchini & Vegetable Car Race
Build and race a zucchini or other locally grown vegetable! Free car-building workshop at 9:15 AM, with prizes for fastest, longest roll and most creative car. Details at bucksfoodshed.org/20th-celebration.
🥧 September 26 — Harvest Festival & Pie Bake-Off Contest
CALLING ALL BAKERS! Enter your homemade pie for a chance to win our People’s Choice Champion or Best Most Locally Grown Pie.
Customer pie tasting begins at 10 AM! For just $5 per plate, market visitors can sample a taste of each pie and vote for their favorite.
Bakers must provide two identical pies and register in advance by emailing managerWFM@gmail.com or calling 215-378-3284.
Also enjoy free face painting, our Anniversary Special Eats featuring WFM sourced grass-fed burgers cooked on site by Chef Casey Kopchinsky of Helpful Foodie (for purchase), and live music by the Goose Creek Pioneers. Don’t miss the Veggie Costume Parade at 9:45 AM!
🎃 October 3 — Fall Produce Celebration and Tastings
Celebrate the bounty of the season with pumpkin decorating, vendor tasting table and a cooking demo featuring local fall produce.
For 20 years, Wrightstown Farmers Market and the Bucks County Foodshed Alliance has brought local farmers, food producers and the community together. Come celebrate this milestone with us!
