Chalfont Tavern To Close Its Doors In December
Earlier this year, the owners cut the ribbon on the new restaurant and bar located in the heart of Chalfont Borough.

CHALFONT BOROUGH, PA — A year after opening, the Chalfont Tavern Pizza & Restaurant will be closing its doors. The owners announced the closing in a Facebook posting on Wednesday.
“With mixed emotions, we want to share that Chalfont Tavern will be closing its doors in December,” the owners wrote.
“We want to take this opportunity to thank all of our amazing customers, friends, and families who have supported us throughout this journey. Your loyalty, memories, laughter, and continued support have meant more to us than words can express. You have been more than customers — you have been part of our family.”

Rosa Jimenez took over the former Leonardo's Pizza at 4 North Main Street last fall, changed the name of the restaurant and celebrated its grand reopening in early February.
Along with a new name, Jimenez, who formerly worked at Leonardo’s, rebranded the restaurant as “a culinary haven where passion meets palate” and introduced new menu items and desserts.
“Although December will mark the end of this chapter, we are still OPEN and look forward to seeing you until then,” the tavern posted. “Come visit us, enjoy your favorite food and drinks, and help us make these last months together memorable.”
They added, “Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for every visit, every kind word, and every moment shared with us. We are truly grateful for the memories we’ve made together. Our doors are still open, and we would love to see you before we say goodbye.”
