From Donuts To Detention: Wanted Teen Arrested At Valley Square In Warrington

WARRINGTON, PA — A teenage boy from Southampton, who was doing donuts with his car in the parking lot of a township shopping center on Monday, is now in police custody and headed to Philadelphia to face multiple felony charges.

On Monday, Warrington Police responded to the back parking lot of Valley Square after receiving reports of vehicles driving recklessly and performing donuts.

Officers quickly located two vehicles matching the witness's description and conducted a registration check on one of the cars.

The check revealed that the 17-year-old driver from Southampton was wanted by the University of Pennsylvania Police Department on multiple felony charges, including theft, theft by deception, receiving stolen property, identity theft, as well as misdemeanor charges of forgery and securing execution.

The boy was placed under arrest, while his 17-year-old female passenger was released at the scene.

The boy was transported to the station before being released into the custody of University of Pennsylvania Police detectives.
