Gather Place Joins Doylestown Museum To 'Remember The Ladies'
Second-year fundraising collaboration celebrates five extraordinary women during America's 250th anniversary.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — The Gather Place of Yardley will tell the stories of five women who contributed to the American pursuit of freedom, equality, and opportunity during a special program on Saturday at the Mercer Museum in Doylestown.
"Remember the Ladies 2026" will present engaging first-person portrayals of Alice of Dunks Ferry, Hannah Penn, Abigail Adams, Lucretia Mott and a featured portrayal of pioneering journalist and civil rights advocate Ida B. Wells-Barnett from 2 to 3 p.m. inside the museum's Elkins Gallery.
"As the nation celebrates its 250th anniversary, 'Remember the Ladies 2026!' invites audiences to experience history through engaging first-person portrayals," said Corsey. "Together, their stories illuminate women’s contributions to the American pursuit of freedom, equality, and opportunity."
