Shoplifting Suspect Caught On Camera
In other reports, Warrington Township Police cited a 29-year-old Willow Grove man with retail theft for an incident that happened in March at the Wal-Mart store.
The store's loss prevention officials told police that an inventory check found an expensive Plan B over-the-counter medication was missing.
When the store checked its video surveillance, it showed a man selecting and concealing paper products in a shoulder bag. He then proceeded to the health and beauty department where he selected the Plan B medication and concealed it under his shirt, police said.
The man then proceeded to select a sandwich and to fill a container from the hot bar. He then exited the store, failing to pay for the merchandise valued at $78.26, police said.
An investigation by police revealed the identity of the suspect, who turned himself in and was processed and released.
