DOYLESTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Doylestown Township Police handled 974 incidents during March. Police investigated 45 traffic accidents and issued 100 traffic citations, 194 traffic warnings, and 5 non-traffic citations.
Assault
- On March 4, a 20-year-old man was arrested for assaulting a health-care employee following an incident at Doylestown Hospital.

- On March 15, a resident from S. Shady Retreat Road reported vandalism to their home after eggs were apparently stolen from a neighboring home.
- On March 23, a resident from Steeplechase Drive discovered scratches and a dent on the passenger side of their car.
Disorderly Conduct/Public Drunkenness
- On March 15, a 45-year-old man was walking while intoxicated along Pebble Hill Road near Turk Road when he fell and a passerby called police.
- On March 28, officers were called to Doylestown Hospital where three people - a 45-year-old man, a 45-year-old woman, and a 23-year-old man - were cited for public drunkenness.
- On March 28, a 23-year-old intoxicated man was walking, yelling, and causing alarm in and around the Doylestown Station neighborhood in the early morning hours.

- On March 23, a 26-year-old woman was arrested for DUI after officers responded to a single-vehicle car accident on Lower State Road near Wisteria Lane.
Fraud
- There were 11 fraud reports in March. Police said scammers are continuing to cold-call folks pretending to be law enforcement or a relative who needs bail money. If in doubt, hang up and call the police at 215-348-4200.
Narcotics
- On March 16, a 32-year-old man was cited during a traffic stop where he had suspected marijuana and paraphernalia in the vehicle.
Miscellaneous
- There were seven E-Bike-related calls in March. The ages of the riders ranged from 10 to 18 years old. Parents were educated, and one citation was issued.
- On March 4, a 61-year-old man was arrested for defiant trespass and related offenses at Doylestown Hospital after he refused to leave the property.
