Man Charged With DUI After Crashing Into Patrol Vehicle: Central Bucks Regional Police
During July, police also made arrests for retail theft, DUI, aggravated assault, trespassing, disorderly conduct, and public drunkenness.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — The Central Bucks Regional Police Department reported the following arrests during July for DUI, aggravated assault, trespassing, public drunkenness, urinating in public, disorderly conduct and retail theft.
July 4
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE & OTHER CHARGES, 11 S. Pine Street, Doylestown Borough – A 25-year-old man from Norristown was charged with DUI after crashing into a parked vehicle and a patrol vehicle. The man fled the scene and was found shortly after displaying signs of intoxication and admitting to the crash.

July 5
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE, DRIVING W/O LICENSE & OTHER CHARGES, W. Butler Ave & N. Main St, Chalfont Borough – A 24-year-old man from Perkasie was charged with DUI following a traffic stop for failing to maintain his lane while making a left turn onto N. Main Street and causing the vehicle to strike the concrete curb.

ORDINANCE VIOLATION, 10 McKinstry Dr (Fanny Chapman Pool), Doylestown Borough – A 31-year-old man from Doylestown was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana following suspicious activity inside a parked vehicle.
July 8
DRUG VIOLATIONS, E. Butler Avenue & N. Shady Retreat, New Britain Borough – A 25-year-old man from Coatesville was charged following a traffic stop for a tinted license plate.
July 9
TRESPASS, 84 S. Pine Street (Mercer Museum), Doylestown Borough – A 70-year-old man with no fixed address was charged with trespass after he was found sleeping inside a vehicle in the rear parking lot of the museum. The man was previously warned by police not to return to the property.
July 10
ORDINANCE VIOLATION, Swamp Rd & S. Chubb Dr, Doylestown Borough – A 48-year-old man from Clifton, NJ, was cited for possession of a small amount of marijuana when he stopped to speak to police at a street closure.
July 11
PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS, Bunker Street & W. Oakland Avenue, Doylestown Borough – A 42-year-old man was cited after he was found passed out on sidewalk with his feet dangling in the roadway.
ORDINANCE VIOLATION, 22 N. Main Street (Sparta), Doylestown Borough – A 30-year-old man from Targon Springs, FL, was cited for possession of marijuana.
July 15
AGGRAVATED ASSAULT, 432 Maple Ave (Harborview Rehab), Doylestown Borough - A 35-year-old woman from Jacksonville, FL, was charged with aggravated assault after causing a physical altercation with staff, refusing to follow police commands, and causing injury to a police officer.
July 16
RETAIL THEFT, 465 N. Main St (Target), Doylestown Borough - A 41-year-old man from Doylestown was charged following police response to a theft in progress. He was observed leaving the store with $242.76 worth of stolen merchandise concealed on his person.
July 18
DISORDERLY CONDUCT, PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS, EVADING ARREST, 25 E. State St, Doylestown Borough – A 21-year-old intoxicated man from Doylestown was charged after police observed him urinating in public. He fled after being asked for identification.
July 20
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE & OTHER CHARGES, E. State & S. Main Streets, Doylestown Borough – A 24-year-old man from Levittown was charged with DUI following police response to a subject who fell from his motorcycle three times while attempting to ride it. The man presented with signs of intoxication and resisted arrest.
July 24
ORDINANCE VIOLATION, Rte. 202 & S. Main St, Doylestown Borough – A 30-year-old woman from Philadelphia was cited for possession of a small amount of marijuana following a traffic stop during a traffic enforcement detail.
July 25
PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS, E. State Street, Doylestown Borough - Two men, both 22-years-old from Warminster, were cited for following officers’ response to a wellbeing check for two men sleeping on the ground.
PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS, E. Court St & Printers Alley, Doylestown Borough – A 23-year-old man from Bensalem was cited after police found him slouched against a wall and vomiting from consumption of alcohol.
July 26
DISORDERLY CONDUCT, State & Main Streets, Doylestown Borough – A 23-year-old man from Horsham was cited following officer response to a man vomiting on the sidewalk in front of a liquor establishment.
July 29
HARASSMENT, E. Butler Avenue, New Britain Borough - A 20-year-old man from Doylestown was cited after being warned previously to have no contact with the victim from previous incidents.
July 30
RETAIL THEFT, 480 N. Main St (ACME), Doylestown Borough – A 39-year-old man from Philadelphia was charged following police response for theft. The man was found in front of EZ Laundry with stolen items.
DRUG VIOLATIONS, W. Butler Avenue, New Britain Borough – A 27-year-old man from Chalfont was charged following police response to a suspicious parked vehicle with rear doors open, trunk open and no driver. The trunk contained illegal substances in plain sight.
July 31
ORDINANCE VIOLATION, N. Main Street & Fonthill Drive, Doylestown Borough – A 27-year-old man was cited for smoking marijuana while walking down the street.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT, Doylestown Borough – The following individuals were cited for public urination: A 21-year-old man from Newtown; a 21-year-old man from Warwick; a 30-year-old woman from Brooklyn, NY; a 29-year-old woman from Claymont, DE; a 22-year-old man from Lansdale; a 25-year-old man from Souderton; a 27-year-old man from Lansdale; a 21-year-old man from North Wales; a 22-year-old man from Newtown; and a 37-year-old man from Los Angeles, CA.
