Man Charged With Harassment After Tailing Driver In Warrington

The 78-year-old man from Holland told police the other driver had crossed the double yellow line and had cut him off.

WARRINGTON, PA — A Holland driver has been charged with harassment after following a car that had cut him off for more than seven miles.

On June 4, Warrington Police were called to the area of Lower Barness Road for the report of a motorist being followed. The complainant reported that after a traffic-related dispute near Bristol Road and Route 202, another driver began following him.

Officers located and stopped the suspect vehicle in the Valley Square area. The driver, a 78-year-old man from Holland, told police the other driver had crossed the double yellow line and cut him off.

The complainant told police that he had been followed for approximately 7.3 miles through multiple roadways because he did not want the driver to know where he lived. He eventually drove to the police station.

Following the investigation, Holland man was cited for harassment.
