Man Choked, Head-Butted Victim At Warrington Hotel: Police

The man has been charged with strangulation, a 2nd degree felony, and two misdemeanors - simple assault and harassment.

WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — A 54-year-old Blakeslee man is facing numerous charges following an assault in a hotel room at the Hampton Inn.

Police were called to the hotel on May 28 for a domestic disturbance. When they arrived, police spoke to a witness who said they saw the victim in the lobby. Five minutes later, the witness told police the victim returned to the lobby with visible bruises.

Eric Jay Arzola, who is accused of throwing them against a wall, choking them, and head-butting them under the eye.

The victim told police they had gone to the lobby for food. When they returned to the room, they were assaulted by 54-year-old Eric Jay Arzola, who is accused of throwing them against a wall, choking them, and head-butting them under the eye.

Officers observed fresh marks and bruises on the victim.

Arzola was arrested and transported to the police station for processing. He was arraigned by Judge Wertman, who set bail at $750,000 or 10 percent cash. He was not able to post bail and was transported to the Bucks County Correctional Facility.
