At the same time, a new 24/7 Bright Path crisis center has opened on North West Street in Doylestown Borough, offering free walk‑in help for mental health and substance‑use emergencies.
   

4. Zoning Changed for Hart Tract in Doylestown, Paving Way for Townhouses (tapinto.net) — Doylestown Township supervisors have approved a zoning change for the Hart Tract off South Main Street, clearing the way for 36 proposed luxury townhomes while preserving about half the land and three historic buildings. Residents packed the meeting to debate overdevelopment, history, and housing needs, as officials argued this plan offers more protections than what current institutional zoning allows.
   

5. Bright Path Crisis Center Opens With $643,000 Gap (lowerbuckstimes.com) — Bright Path Center on North West Street in Doylestown is now Bucks County's 24/7 walk‑in site for mental health and substance‑use crises, replacing most walk‑ins at Doylestown Hospital's ER. The center is fully built but faces a significant operating shortfall, and county officials are already eyeing the 2027 budget and insurer negotiations to keep this unique service running long term.
