USA 250 Series Continues With Revolutionary War Discussion In Doylestown

DOYLESTO WN, PA —As part of the Doylestown Celebrates USA 250! series, the Doylestown Historical Society and the Friends of Doylestown Library present "The Revolutionary War in Montgomery and Bucks County," a lecture by independent military historian Michael Jesberg.

Montgomery and Bucks counties served as the strategic heart of the American Revolution. They functioned as critical operational zones, encampment sites, and vital supply networks for George Washington’s Continental Army as they fought to contain British-occupied Philadelphia.

Jesberger, a lifelong resident of the Philadelphia region and a renowned independent military historian specializing in the American Revolution and Civil War, will share his extensive expertise.

Known for his engaging and passionate presentation
style, Jesberger brings a deep understanding of the region's military history. A member of numerous history-based organizations, he is also an active participant in the
reenactment community, frequently presenting living history programs and lectures throughout the Tri-state area.
