• Senator Pisciottano Announces Nearly $1.75 Million for Violence Prevention and Youth Program Grants (pasenate.com) — Duquesne families should know that the Duquesne City School District just received a $500,000 state BOOST grant to expand its AI Scholars Initiative for at-risk youth. The funding is part of nearly $1.75 million awarded across Allegheny County for out-of-school, mentorship, and violence-prevention programs, many serving Mon Valley communities neighboring Duquesne.
