Preliminary designs unveiled for Easton-Lafayette multimodal trail (lafayettestudentnews.com) — Plans for a new multimodal trail linking Lafayette College, Metzgar Fields, Forks Township, and Easton neighborhoods could reshape how you walk and bike around town, including safer routes to Giant and the Karl Stirner Arts Trail. Designers are still refining details like parking impacts and funding, with a final open house expected in October to present the preferred plan and next steps.
   

2. Inaugural festival to give artists the spotlight in Downtown Easton (lehighvalleylive.com) — Downtown Easton will light up Sept. 18–19 with the free East ON Fest, turning Church and Bank streets, First United Church of Christ, and the Easton Public Market into a nighttime gallery of projections and immersive art.
