• Edwardsville church to hold annual Eisteddfod (citizensvoice.com) — An Edwardsville tradition returns April 25 as Dr. Edwards Memorial Congregational Church hosts its 134th Cynonfardd Eisteddfod, a Welsh-style festival of music and literature at Main and Church Streets. Youth competitions start at 11 a.m., adults follow at 3 p.m., with no entry fee and cash prizes in handmade bags for young participants. Residents can enter through April 21 and attend for an afternoon of local performing arts.
