• Hearing for Mount Joy Township industrial buildings draws more than 50 people (lancasteronline.com) — A massive three-building industrial project near the Rheems-Elizabethtown Route 283 exit drew more than 50 people to a zoning hearing at Elizabethtown College, with neighbors raising concerns about impacts on nearby homes. Developers say the 106-acre plan, including three proposed roundabouts and over 1,300 trees, could hugely boost school and local tax revenue. The next hearing is set for April 30 at the college. 
• Status quo as second half of section play kicks off: L-L League volleyball roundup for April 16 matches (lancasteronline.com) — Elizabethtown’s boys volleyball team dropped a straight-sets road match at Warwick, briefly leading late in a tight first set before the Warriors pulled away. The Bears are also slated to represent the L-L League at Conestoga Valley’s tournament in Witmer, alongside several other league powers.
