• Daniel Edward Barnhart - Worcester County News Bayside Gazette (baysideoc.net) — A longtime Waste Management employee from Greencastle Daniel Edward Barnhart is being remembered after his recent passing at age 66. Though he later settled in Berlin, Maryland, his decades of work in Greencastle and ties across Pennsylvania shaped much of his life. Memorial services are planned in Ocean City in May and Biglerville in July.
   

• Frederick J. 'Fritz' Rushlow 1960-2026 (fcfreepresspa.com) — Greencastle residents are invited to a future Celebration of Life service at Evangelical Lutheran Church on North Washington Street honoring Frederick “Fritz” Rushlow, a longtime member. The 65-year-old Waynesboro resident and historic preservation professional is remembered for his faith, craftsmanship, love of the outdoors, and devotion to family, with memorial contributions directed to the Greencastle congregation or his former church in Wisconsin.
   

• Crawford Livestock takes part in Livestock Marketing Association Fly-In in March (tsln.com) — Greencastle is represented in national livestock policy talks through participant Chad McNew, who joined other Livestock Marketing Association members at a Washington, D.C. fly-in. The group met with multiple senators and representatives about traceability rules, labor visas, transportation regulations, and market ownership limits. Their goal was to protect rural livestock markets and the communities that depend on them.
