Mom Kills Daughter, Hurts Family Dog In Delco Stabbing: Reports

UPPER DARBY, PA — A woman is dead after being stabbed in Delaware County sometime Tuesday morning, and a news reports state's the victim's mother was the attacker.

Upper Darby Police said officers found a 23-year-old woman with multiple stab wounds in a residence on the 200 block of South Bishop Avenue.

She was pronounced dead, and one other person was taken into custody, according to authorities.

Action News reports the victim's mother was the attacker and is being charged with homicide and related crimes.

The family dog was also stabbed, according to the Delaware County Daily Times.

Police said the stabbing was an isolated incident and there is no threat to the community.
