• Hazleton Police Seek Public's Help in Locating Missing Man Last Seen Traveling Toward New York (skooknews.com) — Hazleton City Police are asking residents to help locate Yalexis Puguero, last seen Sunday afternoon leaving the Hazleton area in a 2007 Acura sedan headed toward New York. Officers urge anyone with information to call 911 or submit an anonymous tip via the department’s official CrimeWatch page, and to ignore an unofficial flyer circulating with incorrect contact details. 
• Area students selected for RYLA Conference (standardspeaker.com) — Hazleton Rotary is sending three MMI Preparatory School juniors to the Rotary Youth Leadership Award Conference later this month, covering everything but their travel. The weeklong Keystone College program will help these Hazleton-area students sharpen leadership skills through team projects, small-group work, and plenty of social activities with peers from across NEPA.
