Man Charged For Cutting Off Victim's Clothes With Knife In Hatboro
Hatboro Police said the man caused a confrontation in the parking lot of the Hatboro McDonald's earlier this month.
HATBORO, PA — A 20-year-old man has been charged with simple assault and other offenses after allegedly starting to cut off the clothes of a victim at the McDonald's on York Road.
The Hatboro Police Department arrested Dantz Zachary Jenkins on Saturday after he failed to evade law enforcement.
Hatboro Police took a report of an assault that occurred on Sept. 10 at the McDonald's.

After reviewing surveillance video, police said that the victim was sitting in a vehicle when he was approached by Jenkins.
Jenkins instigated a confrontation where he then produced a knife and began to cut off the clothing of the victim, police said. Jenkins then fled the area with his associates.

Jenkins was charged with simple assault, possession of an instrument of crime, and harassment.
