• Man cited for animal cruelty after abandoning 2 dogs in crates (local21news.com) — Two dogs abandoned in crates along West End Avenue in Hummelstown last September have led to animal-cruelty citations for a Middletown man, police say. Investigators traced a note left with the dogs back to the owner, and the animals were later taken to the Harrisburg Humane Society, where they were adopted.
