King of Prussia man says scammer tricked him into returning free iPhone (wgal.com) — A King of Prussia resident says he was duped into mailing back a “free” iPhone and then charged about $1,200 for it, after a scammer convincingly posed as Comcast. Comcast later refunded him and says it’s tightening internal communication, while urging customers to double-check any unexpected return requests and report suspected scams through its official channels.

Philly police said anti-AI posts on social media suggest data centers could be targeted by extremists (kentucky.com) — Residents in King of Prussia are visibly opposing a proposed AI data center, even as Philadelphia police monitor anti–data center social media for possible extremist threats. The report, shared among law enforcement agencies, cites online posts about sabotaging facilities, while civil liberties advocates warn against conflating community protest with domestic extremism.
   

4. Man scammed victim's credit info for luxury shopping spree (northcentralpa.com) — Thousands of dollars in fraudulent charges were allegedly run up at luxury stores in King of Prussia Mall after a texting phishing scam stole a victim’s credit card information. State police say surveillance video and rental car records helped them arrest a Massachusetts man now facing multiple felony charges and a high cash bail.
