• NOTICE Sealed proposals will be received by Knox Borough of (thecourierexpress.com) — Knox Borough is accepting sealed proposals until 3:00 p.m. on July 6, 2026, for a double asphalt seal coat project totaling 11,177 square yards. Contractors must follow the borough’s bid forms, provide required bid and performance bonds, complete the work by September 15, 2026, and note that daily liquidated damages will apply after that deadline.
   

• Don't Fall For It: How Scammers Are Using The Knox Police Number To Steal Your Info (exploreclarion.com) — Knox Borough Police are warning residents about a phone scam where callers pretend to report fraudulent charges, then spoof the department’s official number to seem legitimate. Residents are urged never to share personal or financial information over the phone, and to hang up and call the department directly at 814-797-1100 if they suspect a scam.
