📰 News we're reading
• Ex-Teacher Fined For Mistreating Bristol Autistic Student (patch.com) — Levittown residents may be following the case of Stephanie Kleinfelder, a 26-year-old from Levittown and former Bristol Borough special education teacher, who was found guilty of harassing a 7-year-old autistic student. Prosecutors said she grabbed the child's wrist and forced him to hit himself during a December 2025 classroom incident, leading to a $150 fine and her resignation from the district.

• E-Bike Rider Injured In Falls Twp. Crash (patch.com) — An e-bike rider was hospitalized with a suspected head injury after colliding with a sedan at Mill Creek Parkway and Levittown Parkway in Falls Township on Sunday morning. Police say the sedan, driven by a Levittown man with a green light, was struck when the e-bike abruptly turned left while weaving through traffic. Investigators are seeking additional witnesses but do not suspect alcohol, drugs, or a medical emergency as factors.

• Feasterville Mosque Proposal Rejected After Contentious Zoning Fight, Appeal Still Possible (bucksco.today) — Levittown is highlighted as one of just a few Bucks County communities with an existing mosque, underscoring why Feasterville's Uzbek Muslims sought their own worship space. Lower Southampton's zoning board unanimously rejected the Al-Asr Community Center's bid to convert industrial space into a mosque, mainly over zoning and parking, but an appeal to county court is still possible.
