Dave Portnoy Reviews Bucks Co. Pizzeria, Gives 'Amazing Score'
The self-described pizza lover appeared at Abruzzi Ristorante Friday, his latest stop in Bucks County after a trip in August.
BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Barstool Sports Founder David Portnoy is falling in love with pizza places in Bucks County, returning once again to sample a slice.
The self-described pizza lover appeared at Pizza Di Vita on 110 Lincoln Highway in Fairless Hills in mid-August to sample a slice as part of his "One Bite" internet pizza critic role.
On Friday, following some recommendations, Portnoy showed up at Abruzzi Ristorante at 1259 Wood Lane in Langhorne.

"El Presidente" tried the Chambersburg, and was graciously patient enough to wait for a second pie, which was a Thin Burg, its owners said in a Facebook post.
"Dave walked in, and I was speechless. I didn’t even know what to do or say, I was honestly in a state of shock," Owner Michael Anthony said.

The owner said the Portnoy "gave us an amazing score," which he said would be revealed in the near future.
Portnoy hinted at another return to the area soon and was seeking suggestions for his next stop to Bucks County.
In December 2023, Portnoy visited HG Bucks Bagels at 1179 York Road in Warminster. He has also visited Lucatelli's Pizzeria in Doylestown.
"I’ve been watching Dave for years go to pizza shops and perform his reviews and loved what he did for restaurants during Covid," Anthony said. "This was years before I was ever thinking about Abruzzi or even had the thought of this place. When we opened, I dreamed for the day this guy would walk through our doors and give us a try. Today, that dream came true."
