Threat Closes 2 Neshaminy Schools Thursday
School officials said Middletown Township Police are investigating a threat to Maple Point Middle School.
LANGHORNE, PA — Two schools in the Neshaminy School District are closed Thursday due to a threat one received, according to officials.
In a email sent to the Neshaminy community, school officials said that the Middletown Township Police Department continues to address a reported threat to the Maple Point Middle School.
School officials said, though, that out of an abundance of caution, Core Creek Elementary School and Maple Point Middle School will be closed on Thursday, a statement on the school district's website said.

Core Creek and Maple Point share a large campus off Langhorne-Yardley Road.
“Students and staff at those two schools will engage in asynchronous instruction. Building principals will provide additional information regarding instructional expectations,” the statement reads.

All other schools in the Neshaminy School District are open on Thursday.
