• Shopper steals more than $1,000 of items from Lewisburg Walmart (northcentralpa.com) — Police say a repeat retail theft suspect stole more than $1,000 in electronics across multiple visits to the Lewisburg Walmart, allegedly hiding trail cameras and a subwoofer in a backpack on a motorized cart. The man faces four felony retail theft charges filed through Lewisburg District Judge Jeffrey Rowe, with a warrant issued and a preliminary arraignment scheduled.
   

• Bucknell rowing varsity eight finishes 19th at Princeton Chase (northcentralpa.com) — Bucknell’s women’s rowing varsity eight, representing the Lewisburg-based university, placed 19th out of 64 boats at the Princeton Chase on Lake Carnegie. With four Bison boats competing and times detailed for each, the team now turns its focus to the US Rowing Small Boat National Championship in New Jersey on Nov. 14.
