Bucknell Intercollegiate Film Festival to Showcase State's Top Student Filmmakers May 1 (bucknell.edu) ā Lewisburg residents can catch a free Bucknell Intercollegiate Film Festival screening on Friday, May 1, at 7 p.m. at the Campus Theatre on Market Street. Student programmers from Bucknell have curated about 10 short films from colleges across Pennsylvania, and visiting filmmakers will join for a Q&A, awards, and a reception afterward.

2. 'Moments in Motion': TEDxBucknellUniversity invites reflection on time, identity and growth (bucknellian.net) ā Bucknell University is hosting a TEDx event, āMoments in Motion,ā tonight at 7:30 p.m. in the Harvey M. Powers Theatre, giving Lewisburg-area residents a chance to hear three campus speakers explore time, decision-making, and personal growth. Talks will touch on redefining success, embracing unstructured āwhite space,ā and learning from bees, all aimed at helping students and neighbors slow down and reflect.

3. Annual Student Art Exhibition draws a crowd (bucknellian.net) ā Bucknellās Samek Museum has opened its Annual Student Art Exhibition, showcasing a wide range of student work and running in Lewisburg through May 17. The event also honored student leaders, including an awardee recognized for contributions at the Weis Center and the Lewisburg Childrenās Museum, highlighting the strong connection between campus arts and the local community.

4. Centre County District Attorney disappeared 21 years ago. Can you help solve the case? (yourerie.com) ā Lewisburg figures prominently in the still-unsolved disappearance of longtime Centre County District Attorney Ray Gricar, whose car and laptop were found near the Susquehanna River outside town in 2005. State police are again asking for tips and offering a $5,000 reward to anyone who can help resolve the 21-year-old mystery.
