
Earth Day Phoenixville Saturday, April 18, 12 noon – 4 pm
This year's theme is Our Planet, Our Power. We are bringing together interactive experiences, live performances, and hands-on activities that inspire curiosity and action. We are planning a zero waste, full 4 hour Program of Musical Performances, Community Garden Tour, walks, crafts, drum circle and Frisbee. Ten “Talks at the Tent” presentations will inform and explore today's top environmental issues. Over 50 Exhibitors, Food and Activities for all ages.
PERFORMANCES
Enjoy performances by the Mighty Manatees, Anna Spackman, and Feet First Dance.
ACTIVITIES
Stretch your full body in joyful music with Qigong movements that work in slow flowing sequences, unleash your creativity with an improv workshop, and join the drum circle to feel the rhythm and power of collective expression.
LEARN AND DO
Attend a presentation at our “Talks at the Tent”, craft a paper earth wands with streamers, swap seeds, meet a live owl up close. Savor delicious food, and discover even more ways to connect with nature and your community!
HIKE
Take a hike to Identify wild edibles, tour the community garden or journey down the Lenape ridge trail to Indian Point.
