Newtown Square Presbyterian Church is all in for DelCo Gives!

Do you want to reduce childhood hunger and malnutrition?

So do the members and volunteers at Newtown Square Presbyterian Church! We invite you to join us on this mission to help underserved people achieve food security and resilience by partnering with Rise Against Hunger.

Rise Against Hunger is a non-denominational organization committed to promoting nutrition and education by providing meals to impoverished children worldwide.

They partner with schools to cook food on-site, ensuring children receive a nourishing meal that allows them to focus on their education. For many, these meals are the only reliable source of daily nutrition.

Each year, volunteers of all ages gather at Newtown Square Presbyterian for a lively two-hour packing event. Together, we package 20,000 meals, and in 2027, our tenth year, we are aiming to reach an exciting milestone: our 200,000th meal!

To reach this ambitious goal, we rely on generous supporters like you. The cost to supply ingredients and shipping for 20,000 meals is approximately $8,000.
