• Union City Woman Charged Following Meadville-Area Burglary Investigation (uctoday.org) — State police say a Union City woman has been charged in connection with several recent commercial burglaries in the Meadville area, including an attempted break-in at Dubrook Concrete in West Mead Township. Troopers report she was identified after items were left behind at the scene and that additional businesses reported burglaries soon after. The investigation is ongoing, and all charges remain allegations at this stage.
   

• Youngsville Police Search for Driver After Pursuit Ends in Crash (erienewsnow.com) — Police say several people from the Meadville area were involved in a late-night vehicle pursuit that started in Youngsville and ended in a crash in Pittsfield Township, after which four occupants allegedly fled on foot. Three juveniles were later found and released to guardians, while investigators say the identified driver was taken to Titusville and is now wanted on a felony warrant. Anyone with information is urged to contact Youngsville Police or Crime Stoppers.
   

• Lakeland Senior League drops first pool play game of World Series (lancasteronline.com) — A Pennsylvania-based Lakeland Senior League softball team, covered by the Meadville Tribune, dropped its first World Series pool game 9-5 to Delaware D3 after a late comeback fell short. Meadville readers can follow the team as it faces the Asia-Pacific champions tonight at 8 p.m. on ESPN+, with several local standouts contributing key hits and pitching.
