• Growing Stir-Fry Chain Opens In Media (patch.com) — Media diners have a new option with Honeygrow opening at the Promenade at Granite Run, serving stir-fries, salads, and fruit-based honeybar desserts. The Philadelphia-founded chain's Media location, at 1127 W Baltimore Pike, is open daily from late morning to late evening, giving residents another convenient spot for quick, customizable meals.
   

• Philly-area natives Trout, McGonigle and Kurtz star far from home (northeasttimes.com) — One of baseball's rising young stars, Kevin McGonigle, grew up in Media and played at Monsignor Bonner and Archbishop Prendergast before breaking into the majors with the Detroit Tigers. Alongside fellow Philly-area standouts Mike Trout and Nick Kurtz, he's now drawing cheers at Citizens Bank Park as an opposing player, underscoring how many local kids are shining far from home.
