• Legion awards over $1 million in grants to youth-serving nonprofits (legion.org) — A Mercersburg-based nonprofit, Two Top Mountain Adaptive Sports Foundation, just secured nearly $23,000 from the American Legion Child Well-being Foundation to expand adaptive sports for children of disabled veterans. The grant is part of more than $1 million awarded nationwide to youth-focused organizations, and will help local families access inclusive outdoor recreation that builds confidence, connection and physical activity.
