• Chickens lost in Juniata County garage fire (abc27.com) — Mifflintown Hose Co. #1 crews helped battle a destructive overnight fire that leveled a two-story garage on Main Street in nearby Port Royal early Wednesday. No people were hurt, but a vehicle and several chickens were lost, and investigators have not yet determined what sparked the blaze.
