Newtown, PA – The Zlock Performing Arts Center is proud to present the Atlantic Mandolin Quartet, an internationally diverse ensemble dedicated to the art of classical mandolin chamber music. Bringing together performers from the United States, Israel, and Russia, the quartet offers a unique and refined musical experience that highlights the beauty and versatility of the mandolin.
The ensemble features Ekaterina Skliar, Carrera Stamile, Gabriel Locati, and Dor Gidon Amran, four accomplished musicians whose artistry and collaboration create a rich, orchestral sound from their mandolins. Together, they breathe new life into the instrument through both traditional repertoire and innovative arrangements.
The Atlantic Mandolin Quartet’s program includes works such as Mozart’s Divertimento arranged for mandolin quartet, alongside original compositions and newly commissioned pieces. Their performances honor the mandolin’s historical roots while exploring fresh and contemporary musical landscapes.
With precision, elegance, and expressive depth, the quartet transforms the mandolin into a powerful chamber instrument, offering audiences a rare opportunity to experience classical music through a distinctive and captivating lens.
