Growing older brings new questions—some practical, some deeply personal. Who decides when it’s time to stop driving?  When is it no longer safe to live independently? What happens when someone doesn’t recognize changes in their own cognitive abilities? And how do we balance safety, independence, dignity, and the wisdom that comes with a lifetime of experience?

Join us for Bridging Blocks | As We Age, Who Decides?, a facilitated community conversation presented by WHYY News Community & Engagement and Friends Village.

This isn’t a lecture or a debate. It’s an opportunity to listen, share experiences, ask questions, and learn from one another in a respectful, welcoming environment. Whether you’re planning for your own future, supporting an aging parent or loved one, or simply interested in the conversation, your perspective matters.

Host: Tony Cuffie, Senior Manager of Community & Engagement, WHYY News.  Moderator: Brisa Luzzi Castro, Community Convener, WHYY News

Come be part of a meaningful conversation about one of life’s most important—and universal—topics.

We look forward to welcoming you.
