NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Members of the Newtown Rotary Club will be at McCaffrey’s Market in Newtown on Saturday, May 16, collecting food for the financially challenged.
The Rotarians will be at the store from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., accepting donations of non-perishable food items, including cereal, crackers, oatmeal, canned fruit and vegetables, peanut butter, jelly, soup, applesauce, canned meats, and more.
The non-perishables collected on Saturday will be distributed to the needy through the Wrightstown Food Cupboard, which is a joint mission of Anchor Presbyterian, Penns Park United Methodist, St. Mark’s Orthodox Church, and Wrightstown Friends Meeting.
