With 30 local eateries, including Newtown Brewing Co., Harvest Seasonal Grill, and Meglio Pizzeria, residents are encouraged to explore new spots, revisit favorites, and support the township's restaurant community.
   

2. Roads Reopen Following Afternoon House Fire In Newtown Township (patch.com) — Drivers in Newtown Township can once again use Tall Oaks Lane and Route 532 after an afternoon house fire prompted several hours of closures and restrictions. Police say Route 532 between Linton Hill and Stoopville Roads, along with Hartford and Concord Streets in Woods of Saxony, have all reopened following the emergency response.

Where To Pick Pumpkins Near Newtown This Fall (patch.com) — Cooler fall weather means it's prime time for Newtown-area residents to head out to nearby farms and markets for pick-your-own pumpkins and family-friendly activities like hayrides and corn mazes.
