• Newtown Rotarians Put Out A Call For Volunteers To Pull 80-Ton Plane (patch.com) — Newtown's Rotary Club is rallying local volunteers to help pull an 80‑ton FedEx cargo plane at Lehigh Valley International Airport this October, all to raise money for Special Olympics Pennsylvania. Residents are invited to join or support Newtown-based teams, with organizers emphasizing the unforgettable teamwork, community spirit, and impact on Special Olympics athletes that the challenge creates.

Officers are also investigating two significant retail thefts at Ulta Beauty, with losses totaling more than $1,700 in merchandise.
