Used Bicycle, Sewing Machine Collection Set For This Weekend In Bucks
Residents have an opportunity to turn something they no longer use into something that can change a life in a developing country.

NEWTOWN, PA — That bicycle gathering dust in your garage could become someone's transportation to work or school. And that portable sewing machine tucked away in a closet could become a tool for earning an income and supporting a family.
On Saturday, the Rotary Club of Newtown will partner with Pedals for Progress/Sewing Peace for its annual collection of used bicycles and portable sewing machines — giving local residents an opportunity to turn something they no longer use into something that can change a life.
The collection will take place from 9 a.m. to noon at the Olde Church of Saint Andrew parking lot at 135 South Sycamore Street in Newtown.
