2 Hospitalized After Sunday Fire In Bridgeport

BRIDGEPORT, PA — Two people have been hospitalized after the two-alarm fire at a Bridgeport auto dealer on Sunday, according to authorities and media sources.

CBS Philadelphia first reported the injuries, which do not appear to be life-threatening.

The incident began at around 3 p.m. Sunday on 1070 DeKalb Street, the location of the PA Imports facility.

A second alarm was quickly rung as flames began to spread.

The structure suffered severe damage as crews ran hose lines through the afternoon and into the evening hours.

DeKalb Street was closed for hours as crews worked the scene.

The investigation into the cause of the fire remains underway.
