Days After Historic Heat, Montco Declares Code Blue Emergency
Temperatures rose above 90 degrees just five days ago.
NORRISTOWN, PA — Just days after Montgomery County experienced historic, record-breaking heat, a Code Blue cold weather emergency has been declared.
Temperatures will plummet into the low 30s or possibly the high 20s on Monday night into Tuesday morning, with the wind chill dropping even lower.
The Code Blue is in place from 9 p.m. Monday to 9 a.m. Tuesday.

The drastic temperature shifts can have serious impacts on trees, spring blooms, and crops.
