Dumpsters To Be Set Up Around Norristown For Free Bulk Trash Disposal
Get rid of sofas, beds, and other large bulk trash items at an upcoming free event in Norristown.
NORRISTOWN, PA — More than a dozen large dumpsters will be set up around Norristown for a special bulk trash disposal event on May 2.
The event will begin at 6 a.m. and dumpsters will remain in place until full. There is no charge for residents to drop off items, but ID's will be checked to ensure Norristown residency.
The 30-cubic-yard dumpsters will remain in place until full.

Old furniture, trash and other non-electronic, non-hazardous waste will be accepted.
Contractors are barred from using the dumpsters for construction debris, according to the notice.

Dumpsters will be set up at the following locations: Municipal Hall, 235 E. Airy Street, Arch and Oak streets, Haws Avenue and Marshall Street, Haws Avenue and Washington Street, Buttonwood and Elm streets, Pine and Fornance streets, Roberts Street in Norris Hills, and Guardino Park in the 1200 block of West Lafayette Street.
