New Bridgeport Restaurant Opens Up In Former Taphouse 23 Location

BRIDGEPORT, PA — Cecilia, the new restaurant at the former Taphouse 23 location in Bridgeport, officially opened its doors for the first time late Monday morning.

The long anticipated opening comes after the May 2025 closing of Taphouse 23, a community favorite. News broke back in March that a new establishment would be filling the vacant space.

The eatery at 266 E. 4th Street describes itself as a "contemporary American restaurant with global inspiration."

"Thank you for your patience, and for following along with us from the very beginning," they shared this week. "We are so grateful to be here."
