• Monroe County man pleads guilty to robbing Chestnuthill Township bank (tricountyindependent.com) — A Stroud Township man has pleaded guilty to robbing a Chestnuthill Township bank and is also charged in a February robbery at First Northern Bank on Sullivan Trail in Plainfield Township, Northampton County. Slate Belt Regional Police linked him to the Northampton County case, and he now awaits sentencing in Monroe County this November.
