Anyone claiming an interest must contact the Clearfield County Sheriff’s Office before the sale as distribution of proceeds will follow strict filing deadlines. 
• Spike Island hammers Happy Valley (theprogressnews.com) — Philipsburg fans saw the Spike Island Pirates crush the Happy Valley Hellbenders 17-1 at home, improving to 11-1 behind Hunter Rumsky’s two-hitter. The Pirates’ bats exploded early, and they now ride a six-game win streak into Sunday’s huge Centre County League showdown with undefeated Blanchard in Philipsburg.
