• Sturtevant, Matey, and Buono Named Women's Lacrosse Team Captains (bluehens.com subscription) — A Phoenixville native, defender Mary Matey, has been named one of three captains for the University of Delaware women's lacrosse team after a standout 2026 season anchoring their top-ranked defense. She and her fellow captains will lead the Blue Hens into 2027 following a historic 13-5 campaign and an undefeated ASUN regular season title.
