Deadly Pittsburgh Crash: Man Killed, Woman & Child Hurt

A man died Friday after his vehicle collided with another one in a suburban Pittsburgh neighborhood.

PITTSBURGH, PA — A two-vehicle crash left a man dead and a woman and a 4-year-old child injured on Friday.

At approximately 12:34 p.m. Allegheny County police were notified of a collision that occurred in the 1000 block of Ohio River Boulevard in Avalon.

First responders found that two vehicles and three people were involved in the incident. Preliminary information indicates a man was driving one of the vehicles while a woman with a child occupant was driving the other one.

All three people were taken to area hospitals. The man was pronounced dead, while the woman and child were listed in stable condition.

The incident remains under investigation.
